| 30 | Mi Nagual | Although the predominant religion is the Catholic one, many Guatemalan indigenous peoples practice traditional rituals alongside the other belief. In the Mayan cosmovision, everybody upon their birth has a Nahual, the spirit of an animal that protects and guides. The indigenous spiritual world is broad and full of symbolisms.
